About Bully Boy's Bakery

Where it All Started

Like a lot of good things, Bully Boy's Bakery started with a love for dogs. Owner Evan Spurlock grew up with a particular soft spot for pit bulls. And 18 years ago, he and his wife adopted their own pit bull-lab mix, who they cherished for 16 years. His name was Tug, short for Tugboat. Years later, they adopted a pit bull puppy that was sick and hours away from being euthanized. His name was Sully, short for Sullivan. These were their Bully Boys and the inspiration for the brand, and it's mission. Their love for Pit Bulls has driven their desire to destigmatize and advocate for bully breeds. And now, Evan hopes to promote adoption, humane treatment, and adequate training of all breeds with Bully Boy's Bakery goods!

While animal advocacy is the primary mission of Bully Boy's Bakery, we're also in the business of making delicious treats!

While animal advocacy is the primary mission of Bully Boy's Bakery, we're also in the business of making delicious treats! Evan, our master chef, began baking dog treats with his 30-year-old KitchenAid mixer and a single oven, in response to the poor quality of many dog treats you’d likely find in most pet stores. In recognition of their lack of nutritious and human-grade ingredients, Evan decided to make his with only wholesome foods. He spoke with his veterinarian, did his research, and made lots of test-batches before perfecting his final creations. Needless to say, his dogs and happy taste-testers appreciated the process. And soon, his recipes began turning heads of Inland Empire dogs and dog-owners everywhere.
